LVCHS History

History

Lehigh Valley Christian High School was founded in 1988 as a regional high school serving students in grades 9th through 12th, and is a cooperative effort of Bethlehem Christian School, Lehigh Christian Academy, and Phillipsburg Christian Academy.

Governance

The Board of Directors has a majority representation from the cooperating schools. Other members are selected by the Board from the evangelical community. The foundational documents of the school (policies, handbook, long range plan, etc.) are available in PDF format.

Students

Students come from five Pennsylvania counties and western New Jersey, and represent a wide variety of churches.

Graduates

Over 90% attend college, others enter the work force. Many from both categories work and worship in the Lehigh Valley.

Accreditation

In the Spring of 2001 we were visited by a team from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association for Christian Schools International (ACSI). We are fully accredited by both organizations.

Membership

Association for Christian Schools International and Mid-Atlantic Christian School Association
