General Information

We are grateful for your interest in Lehigh Valley Christian High School and are pleased to acquaint you with our philosophy and what we have to offer.

Our board and faculty see LVCHS as an extension of the home and church for the Christian education of “the King’s kids.” Since only churches and parents are given educational responsibilities in the Scriptures, ours is a delegated authority, and you as the parent do the delegating. That is, you will designate some educational agency to stand in your place (in loco parentis, as the Pennsylvania school law puts it) to prepare your son or daughter for “life.”

If you desire the end result of this preparation to include a biblical world-and-life view and a readiness to go out in to the world as a faithful follower of Christ, prepared to serve and be a Light-bearer in our desperately needy society, LVCHS may be for you. We are confident that you will find LVCHS worthy of your consideration if you are looking for quality Christian education in a nurturing environment. Although we are certainly not perfect, we do seek to provide an environment where Christian nurture and rigorous academic training takes place, and we seek to do it with excellence. We like to say that we strive to be the best of everything implied by the word “Christian” and the word “school.”

The attached information packet goes into much greater detail about LVCHS and what we have to offer.
